Difference between service-based company and product-based company

What's the difference between a readymade churidaar and the dress material for a churidaar? Are you wondering how a churidaar is related to service-based or product-based companies?
Well, here's the answer.
A readymade churidaar is something that is already stitched assuming appropriate sizes, so female cannot customize according to their personality. Though they can get it altered a bit, they can't totally change it the way they want. Neverthless, readymade churidaars have their own special look. But dress material is something a female can get it stitched by her favourite tailor according to her personality.
A product-based company is something that develops products, just like a readtmade churidaar.
For ecample, the Windows Operating System that we use in our computers is a product from Microsoft Corporation. Intel processors are products from Intel Corporation. Likewise, there are many other product-based companies that develop various kinds of products.
On the other hand, a service-based company provides a range of services to its clients according to their requirements. Service-based companies develop application software and provide consulting and do many other things as a service to their clients, depending upon the client's requirements. Infosys, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc., are examples of software-related service-based companies.

Thought for the day

When things do not go the way you want them to, when someone does not behave the way you expected them to or when someone turns up where they are not supposed to, it might momentarily shake you. But it always helps when you look at it from the other person's point of view.

What is maturity by Adhi Shankara

1) Maturity is when you stop trying to change others instead focus on changing yourself.
2) Maturity is when you accept people as they are.
3) Maturity is when you understand everyone is right in their own perspective.
4) Maturity is when you learn to "let go."
5) Maturity is when you are able to drop "expectations" from a relationship and give for the sake of giving.
6) Maturity is when you understand whatever you do, you do for your own peace.
7) Maturity is when you stop proving to the world, how intelligent you are.
8) Maturity is when you don't seek approval from others.
9) Maturity is when you stop comparing with others.
10) Maturity is when you are at peace with yourself.
11) Maturity is when you are able to differentiate between "need" and "want" and are able to let go of your wants.
and most meaningful
12) You gain Maturity when you stop attaching "happiness" to material things!

The Three Dolls

A sage presented a prince with a set of three small dolls. The prince was not amused.

“Am I a girl that you give me dolls?” – He asked.

“This is a gift for a future king,” Said the sage. “If you look carefully, you’ll see a hole in the ear of each doll.”

The sage handed him a piece of string. “Pass it through each doll.” – He said.

Intrigued, the prince picked up the first doll and put the string into the ear. It came out from the other ear. “This is one type of person,” said the sage, “whatever you tell him, comes out from the other ear. He doesn’t retain anything.”

The prince put the string into the second doll. It came out from the mouth. “This is the second type of person,” said the sage, “whatever you tell him, he tells everybody else.”

The prince picked up the third doll and repeated the process. The string did not come out. “This is the third type of person,” said the sage, “whatever you tell him is locked up within him. It never comes out.”

“What is the best type of person?” – Asked the prince.

The sage handed him a fourth doll, in answer. When the prince put the string into the doll, it came out from the other ear.

“Do it again.” – Said the sage.

The prince repeated the process. This time the string came out from the mouth. When he put the string in a third time, it did not come out at all.

“This is the best type of person,” said the sage. “To be trustworthy, a man must know when not to listen, when to remain silent and when to speak out.”

Hindi has put Indian culture on the world map

The primary aim of any language is to communicate. We can never imagine our lives without languages, can we? This is because we cannot live without communication. And this is precisely why languages have always played a dominant role in shaping our histories and have influenced the way we think and perceive things.
Thanks to languages we are able to articulate our feelings using appropriate words so that our listeners and readers can relate, comprehend and empathise with what we are saying and what we are going through. All the languages are beautiful and sweet. But unfortunately some languages grow extinct with the passage of time while others go on to dominate the world and end up becoming the language spoken by the powerful and the very elite.
Hindi is an equally popular language in India. Nobody can deny this. The actors belonging to the Hindi film industry enjoy worldwide popularity and thanks to our Hindi blockbusters even foreigners have picked up a smattering of Hindi which can prove to be useful under so many delicate or
uncomfortable circumstances. Though nobody has forced Hindi upon film makers, the popularity of Hindi films have transcended all boundaries and presented the Indian culture on the world stage. That said, if Hindi is a dominant language in the vast swathe of Northern India apart from Mumbai based Bollywood, English has its own charm.
The Indian middle class may speak in Hindi but it certainly dreams in English. Ability to converse in English is considered as a ticket to privilege. The knowledge of English doesn't guarantee success but it surely guarantees an entry into the places that may shy away from throwing their doors
open to non-English speakers.
Hindi keeps us rooted to our culture and holds our feet on the ground. But it is English that has created brands like Infosys and brought Indians into limelight as famous writers like Salman Rushdie and Vikram Seth and software code writers who hop across Atlantic to tell the world that Indians are as competent as the rest of the world.
English is not India's girlfriend who cannot be taken home to moms but it is an elder sister who has equipped Indians with the knowledge to compete with the world.
Hindi has its own place which no other language can take. At the same time it equally holds true for English too. Therefore let us stop insulting languages under the garb of providing humour and end up creating divisions where there exists none.
